VISION:

The technology professions are valued contributors to society, serving the public interest.

MISSION:

To advocate for, and provide services to, the technology professions.

GOALS:

1. Provide services for the technology professions that meet professional needs and interests.

2. Advocate for professional recognition and rights to independent practice for the technology professions.

3. Contribute to initiatives that work to ensure a sufficient supply of practitioners in the technology professions to meet market demands.

4. Support career interests in the technology professions.

5. Promote a high standard of technology education, achieved through national accreditation.

6. Support initiatives that enhance awareness of technology education and careers, particularly with youth in grades 4-12 and with under-represented groups including, but not limited to, Indigenous Peoples, women, immigrants and people with disabilities.

7. Recognize excellence in the technology professions through awards and similar programs.

8. Sustain a viable business operation.
