The Mentorship program described below is currently being developed and is not as yet available.
Further work is required before TPBCA is ready to offer this program on a trial basis.
It is hoped and anticipated that the Mentorship Program will receive strong support from professional regulatory organizations and other agencies as it will provide technology professionals with additional opportunities to maintain and improve their competencies and assist them in meeting their professional obligations.
· Three sessions of 16 hours each, working at your own pace.
· Choose a mentor you already know (any kind of professional) or we will assist and facilitate with pairing.
· Work remotely.
· Improve your communication skills.
· Strengthen your coaching and leadership skills.
· Gain the satisfaction of helping to develop future technical professional and inspire new ideas for generations to come.
· Get recognition and acknowledgement through the TPBCA’s Home page, and TPBCA’s publications and Social Networks.
· Develop and retain talent in your organization.
· Learn mentoring techniques.
· Earn professional development credits (to be confirmed with ASTTBC and other regulatory bodies).
Anyone who is a registrant of ASTTBC (or other similar body approved by the TPBCA Board) may register with the program.
The TPBCA Mentorship Program includes a Handbook and a Logbook to give guidance and direction for both mentors and protégés. Incentives, certificates, worksheets, and other initiatives are all being considered for the program.
