Continuing Education Forum (no fees!)
Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm (Pacific Standard Time)
Format: Live via Zoom
Facilitator: Ian Ralston, P.L.Eng.
Topics: Soil colour classification; engineered wetlands
Jim will start the session by sharing recent experiences including a design and installation project with very difficult site access challenges and a maintenance project that revealed very odd sewage characteristics and rapid filter clogging.
Then Ian will facilitate a presentation on two distinct topics – soil colour characterization (and why it matters!) and an introduction to engineered wetlands.
This is an excellent chance to connect with peers, share experiences, and gain practical insights relevant to your work.
The session is live and interactive, with screen sharing and audio using ZOOM video conferencing software.
When you complete the online registration, you will receive an automatic email response including a ZOOM link to join the online session at the scheduled time.
Participating in these sessions qualifies for EGBC continuing education credits or for ASTTBC continuing professional development hours (self-directed learning/informal learning category).
